Halloween 2008

We had a great Halloween this year and this was the day I got to come home from the hospital. The boys had fun and while Camryn had no clue of course, she got to be a little ghost thanks to our friend Kristi! The nurses loved it!

Happy Birthday!!

Camryn made her early entrance yesterday at 12:47pm. The c-section went very well and she did amazing. She didn't need any breathing assistance at all! She is 3lbs. 9oz. and a whopping 15 in. long. She is so sweet and so calm. We are probably looking at a 2-3 week stay in the NICU. We are thrilled beyond words that everything went so well. She and I already had a discussion where she promised me that she will NEVER put me through that amount of stress and worry ever again!

baby update...

I was admitted to the hospital today so they could keep a closer eye on the baby. She only grew 1 oz. in 10 days - so basically nothing. She looked healthy again on ultrasound though and has passed all of her non-stress tests. If this continues - we will deliver on Oct. 28th at noon. I can't believe that is only one week away!! If she shows any signs of stress or deterioration - they will just take her immediately but we'd all like to see her given at least one more week to mature. So, the next update will hopefully be pictures of our teeny, tiny HEALTHY little girl!!

I had to get this in...

With my Dr's threats of possible hospitalization and early delivery, I knew I wanted to get to the pumpkin patch as this is one of my favorite things to do each year. As always, we tried to get "The Picture" first which didn't really go so well this year, then the bounce house, then the train ride, then the snow cones, and finally pick out your pumpkins to take home. The boys had a great time but as they get older, you can tell it's just not as exciting as it used to be. Don't worry though, as you'll see below they will find a way to liven this pumpkin patch up!

Let's not sit on the turkey like all the other kids - let's jump off of it!!

Wait...even better....if we really try hard - we can totally take this turkey apart!!!

Just for the record!

If you see my cute, sweet, innocent blonde boy in this hat - just know that I did not approve of his, let's see, I think my husband calls it his "awesome nickname"on his baseball hat. So, in the spirit of the upcoming election - This hat was NOT endorsed or approved of by mom.
